ABOUT
Hi, there! My name is Julia, and I'm an illustrator and book designer based in Chicago, IL. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design and have previous experience in concept art for animation.
I currently specialize in book illustration with vivid color palettes, expressive characters, and symbolic compositions that connect meaningfully to the story. There's nothing more exciting to me than collaborating with others to find the best art direction to represent any given novel or project. I particularly aim to create artwork that evokes strong emotion and reveals more meaning the longer someone looks at it. I'm currently seeking illustration opportunities within publishing—particularly for YA and Adult book covers—and other editorial work.
When not drawing, you can catch me in nature, discovering my new favorite novel, and or picking up my 5th grandma hobby.
