ABOUT
Hello! I’m Julia Kartcheva and I’m a visual development artist & character designer from Chicago, IL. I have a love for exploring visual styles, experimenting with lighting, and working on costume design for characters.
I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Animation. During my time at SCAD, I acted as an art director on several larger scale collaborative projects such as “Hex Limit” and “Tea Dragons.” Most recently, I worked with the Lucasfilm Animation design team to create production-ready concepts and artwork.
